DISCOVERY BASKET
Heuristic play means “enabling a person to discover to learn something for themselves”, a concept your child can learn with our discovery basket. It’s to be used as a simple collection of items that your child will find interesting to help widen their view of the world around them.

All items in our Montessori inspired boxes are designed and intended for gentle play. They are not designed to be dropped from height, thrown, or played with roughly. Please read play guide prior to using any materials in the boxes.

Wooden materials
Wooden toys are absorbent in nature and should not be submerged in water. Wipe items clean with damp cloth and if required a non-abrasive cleaner.

Cotton materials
Machine wash separately using cold water and gentle cycle. We recommend that all fabric items be air dried, in the shade, out of direct sunlight.

Silicone/plastic products:
Made from food-safe silicone. BPA and Phthalate-free. Wipe clean with damp cloth

Unless otherwise stated we recommend wiping each toy clean with a damp cloth after every use. Use a mild soap if necessary.
