How can the spinning drum help with my child’s development?

Learning for a child is different than for an adult. For a child, play is learning. Sometimes we may not realise that the simple everyday things we do as adults, can take a lot of effort and coordination for a child to achieve.

This is where the spinning drum can help with your child’s development. The spinning drum is great to be introduced to when your child IS learning to sit unassisted. Whether they're sitting completely on their own for a while or for a couple of seconds, the spinning drum can help your little one strengthen their core muscles as they learn to sit longer and longer.

For the ones that can sit for a while, they’ll enhance their hand-eye coordination as the drum spins when your child touches its surface. They’re brightly coloured to keep your child engaged and include a surprise mirrored surface, for longer focus and entertainment.

Kids love faces at this age, whether it's their own or others, they become fascinated. At this stage they're learning if the person in the mirror is themselves or another person, adding onto the curiosity.
